The technology includes various NAS, SAN, and DAS conditions and other capacity technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a broad understanding of enterprise data storage environments
• Implement and maintain enterprise backup and data security technologies
• Efficiently manage and monitor reporting platforms and software
• Define and implement trend storage design techniques, based on industry standards and best practices
• Interface and communicate with application, database, server, and other technology groups on architecture and configuration selection, to ensure suitable storage technology and design
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to adapt and prioritize tasks in a continually changing workplace
• Contribute clear and concise documentation for both routine and irregular tasks
• Contribute technical support and guidance on complex activities like installation, configuration, and backup/restore operations for all systems
• Perform code updates and security patching to maintain the safety of storage systems

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• 3 years of experience in data storage or a related field with an emphasis on networking and storage protocols
• Industry knowledge and experience with large-scale SAN design and implementation
• Proven expertise in enterprise storage administration, with expertise in DellEMC, Cisco, and similar OEMs
• A strong grasp of current and emerging data protection technologies
• Experience with NAS concepts and protocols (CIFS, NFS, and S3)
• Knowledge of data synchronization technologies for both SAN and NAS
• Operating system administration skills (both Linux and Windows)
• VMWare concepts and administration

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the requirements, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Experience with cloud-based storage solutions
• Certifications in data storage or related fields
• Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL
