The Head/Director of Wholesale is responsible for overseeing the wholesale business, driving new business initiatives, and managing the profitability of account activities. This role involves strategic leadership in developing the team's capabilities, representing the company at industry events, and aligning trading activities with the company's overall strategy.

Main Areas of Responsibility

Business Development and Sales Management:

· Spearhead initiatives to drive new business and increase sales in the wholesale segment, aiming to add a specific number of new accounts each quarter.

· Manage the buying and selling processes and the overall profitability of accounts.

Team Leadership and Development:

· Lead and develop the team's technical and professional skills.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for escalation for anything related to the partners.

· Regularly communicate updates on account progress and new requirements to ensure smooth operations.

· Supervise the amendment of contracts to ensure compliance with organizational standards and perform quality checks.

Strategic Representation and Networking:

· Represent CEQUENS at relevant industry events and conferences, ensuring measurable returns on investment.

· Keep the trading team updated with the latest industry changes and developments.

Financial and Operational Oversight:

· Oversee the follow up, if needed, for the collection of invoices.

· Establish clear objectives and KPIs for traders that align with the company's strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Educational and Professional Qualifications:
    • Required: University Graduate in Business or Marketing.
    • Preferred: MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
    • MUST have 8-10 years of related experience CPaaS or telecom industry, with a proven track record in SMS Wholesale and leadership.
  • Skills:
    • Proven experience SMS Wholesale and trading in SMS is a MUST
    • Strong account management skill dealing with Mega/multiple accounts
    • Experience with dealing with business like TikTok, Microsoft, Google
    • Demonstrated ability to achieve strong sales results.
    • Effective leadership skills capable of driving the account management team towards achieving business and operational goals.
    • Excellent skills in conflict resolution, problem-solving, and interpersonal communications.
    • Proficient in mentoring and coaching team members across various levels.
    • Understanding of pricing strategies and financial management within the trading sector.
    • Willingness and ability to travel frequently for business needs.
    • Commitment to continuous professional development through industry-related education.
    • Strong relationship-building and influential skills.
