Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering a high volume of inbound technical phone calls from internal/external clients, trading partners, and vendors utilizing TriZetto products
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues with high First Contact Resolution rates (FCR)
  • Following established policies, procedures, processes, and workflows to ensure appropriate resolution of issues of limited scope
  • Documenting all issues, comments, and resolutions in appropriate software system applications
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma, GED certificate, or equivalency
  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management is preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry, electronic claims, medical office, or coding/billing
  • Strong technical competencies, including:

+ Proficiency in computer skills, including typing, navigating Windows-based platforms, and utilizing Microsoft Office applications + Strong customer service and quality orientation + Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Behavioral competencies, including:

+ Excellent verbal communication and written documentation skills + Strong customer service skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with excellent organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a call center environment
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry software and systems
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
