As the Manager of Maintenance Control, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and repair of our aircrafts, keeping our planes flying and our customers happy. Join us and be a part of our mission to connect people and unite the world. Oversee and manage the maintenance and repair operations for American Airlines' fleet of aircrafts. Ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all aircrafts in accordance with industry regulations and company policies. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with safety standards and maximize fleet performance. Lead a team of maintenance technicians and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success. Monitor and analyze aircraft maintenance data to identify trends, anticipate potential issues, and make data-driven decisions to improve fleet performance. Collaborate with other departments, such as Flight Operations and Engineering, to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure timely and effective maintenance services. Communicate with external maintenance providers and vendors to ensure quality and timely completion of maintenance work. Remain up-to-date on industry developments, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve maintenance operations. Develop and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high safety and performance standards. Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration among maintenance control staff and other departments. Represent American Airlines in a professional and customer-focused manner, promoting the company's mission and values.
