About the Role: Inbound Business Development Representative

We are seeking an entry-level Inbound Business Development Representative (BDR) who is eager to build a career in technology sales. As an Inbound BDR, you will be the first point of contact for many customers and prospects, delivering a strong first impression and setting the foundation for long-term customer relationships. You will execute high-volume inbound lead qualification and sales motions, utilizing prospecting and go-to-market tools to identify and qualify customers efficiently. Your goal will be to quickly convert marketing-qualified leads into sales opportunities, meeting and exceeding weekly activity goals and monthly and quarterly quotas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute inbound lead qualification and sales motions to convert marketing-qualified leads into sales opportunities
  • Meet and exceed weekly activity goals, including calls, emails, and MQL engagement SLAs
  • Utilize prospecting and go-to-market tools to identify and qualify customers efficiently
  • Partner with Marketing to provide feedback for continuous lead generation campaign improvement and optimization
  • Develop and demonstrate sales skills related to prospecting, phone and email etiquette, uncovering basic needs, overcoming objections, and driving interest in continued discussion with sales team members
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities in F5's CRM
  • Contribute to building a culture of collaboration and learning within the F5 Digital Center in Liberty Lake

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A growth mindset, with a strong desire to learn, compete, and start your sales career
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience using a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
  • 1+ years of experience in a sales or business development role is a plus
  • Familiarity with the software industry or experience selling software products is a plus
