Job Summary Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Virtual Airline Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling airline tickets and travel packages to customers through online platforms, phone calls, and email communications. You will assist clients in finding the best travel options, ensuring excellent customer service while maximizing sales opportunities. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for the travel industry, strong sales skills, and the ability to work in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • * Promote and sell airline tickets, vacation packages, and additional travel services to customers.
  • * Assist clients in booking flights, making changes, and handling cancellations or rebookings.
  • * Provide detailed information on flight schedules, pricing, and travel policies.
  • * Maintain strong relationships with airline partners and travel service providers.
  • * Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat promptly and professionally.
  • * Identify and analyze customer travel needs to offer tailored solutions.
  • * Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.
  • * Stay updated with airline promotions, seasonal offers, and travel industry trends.
  • * Handle customer complaints and provide effective resolutions to ensure satisfaction.
  • * Maintain accurate records of bookings, transactions, and client interactions.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • * High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree in business, hospitality, or a related field is a plus).
  • * Prior experience in airline ticket sales, travel agency, or hospitality industry preferred.
  • * Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting targets.
  • * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • * Proficiency in using reservation systems (e.g., GDS such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is a plus).
  • * Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, virtual environment.
  • * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • * Customer-centric mindset with a focus on providing high-quality service.
  • * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Experience
  • * Minimum 1-2 years of experience in airline ticketing, travel sales, or a related role.
  • * Experience working in a remote or virtual environment is a plus.
  • * Familiarity with international and domestic travel regulations is an advantage.
