Job Overview

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chemistry Tutor to provide college-level tutoring services to students in Chattanooga and the surrounding areas. As a Chemistry Tutor with our organization, you'll have the opportunity to work with students who are eager to learn and succeed, and to make a meaningful contribution to their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, one-on-one tutoring services to college-level students in Chemistry, adapting your teaching style to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student.
• Prepare and deliver lesson plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each student, ensuring that they're well-equipped to succeed in their Chemistry courses.
• Submit session reports to our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session, providing detailed feedback and insights on student progress.
• Effectively balance tutoring hours assigned to each student, ensuring that you're meeting the needs of our clients and delivering exceptional service.
• Respond promptly to client concerns, questions, and requests, providing excellent customer service and support.
• Follow up with our office when a student's enrollment package is low on hours, ensuring that we're able to continue providing seamless support.
• Maintain accurate records and submit data entry as required, using our database to track student progress and tutoring sessions.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you'll need to meet the following minimum qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the education field, preferably in a tutoring or teaching role.
• A strong background in Chemistry, with the ability to teach college-level concepts and principles.
• Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus, but not a requirement.
• Experience with basic database/data entry and strong administrative skills.
• The ability to prepare lesson plans and adapt to different learning styles.
