Part-Time Horse Farm Work – Amazon Store
ISO part-time help! Very quiet and friendly 14 stall facility with a revolving number of 10-12 horses at any given time.
Duties include:
-Feeding
-Turning in/out
-Stalls, 6-10 at a given time
-Scrubbing waters and feed buckets
-Cleaning sheds
-Picking paddocks
-Keeping barn neat and tidy
-Candidate must be detail oriented and be able to work chores on a set schedule that the farm needs
-We are looking for 3 midweek mornings and afternoons on the same day with SATURDAY AM and PM. Morning chore time is roughly 6 am -10:30 am and afternoons roughly 3-5:30.
**We have a system proven chore routine that is very efficient and effective
REQUIREMENTS:
-Reliable transportation
-Experience with horse handling
-Basic knowledge to put on blankets properly and put on splint boots
-Basic knowledge to inspect horses legs for wounds and check feet
Pay is based upon experience.
There is also an opportunity for the right candidate to work off a board situation if interested. The farm boasts a tranquil training operation with a trainer on site and many opportunities to ride with top professionals that come in for clinics.
