Job Summary

As a Bilingual Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for efficiently managing client accounts by taking ownership of account handling, maintenance, collection, and liquidation for assigned portfolios. You will analyze payment history/notes, clearly communicate account statuses to customers, and recommend appropriate solutions to customers by analyzing their accounts and negotiating acceptable collection arrangements. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recommend appropriate solutions to customers by analyzing their accounts and negotiating acceptable collection arrangements
  • Promptly report/refers sensitive and complex issues to the Team Leader
  • Document all activities in accordance with established procedures in a clear and concise manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating concerns as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers

Essential Qualifications

* MUST BE BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH&SPANISH

  • High School Diploma (required)
  • Ability to type a minimum of 30 WPM
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail services, and call contact environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform at a high level, to support our high volume of inbound calls
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor while handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a similar role or industry

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual proficiency in additional languages
