Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Loan Consultant to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our branch operations, you will play a vital role in supporting the Branch Manager in overseeing the efficient operation of the branch and ensuring that all operational functions are performed to the highest standards. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with our customers, and driving business growth through effective sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Branch Manager in managing and motivating staff to meet goals and objectives related to branch profitability, volume, lending, credit quality, collections, and expense

  • Make loan decisions up to established lending limits or recommend loan decisions, process consumer loans, close consumer loans, and collect accounts in varying stages of delinquency
  • Assist the Branch Manager in developing business relationships within the community, selling products and services to meet sales goals
  • Collaborate with customers to implement solutions and monitor overall customer satisfaction
  • Assist the Branch Manager with matters related to hiring, staffing, training, performance reviews, and terminations as applicable
  • Ensure a high quality of customer service and maintain a positive, professional image of blithequark
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or other senior management

Essential Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution

  • At least 5 years of experience in consumer finance or a related field
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and make sound decisions independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient working knowledge of industry-specific lending software, Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word applications

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field

  • Bilingual, Spanish/English proficiency

Compensation and Incentives:

* The salary range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on the specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and/or Experience of the selected candidate

  • This position is eligible for Quarterly Incentive compensation based on individual and company performance guidelines
