Apex Systems is looking for a Data Integration Architect to join one of our large healthcare clients. Data Integration Architect Location: 100% remote tMust reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia, Wyoming Duration: 6-12 month contract to hire Rate: Starting at $85 hr on w2 We are unable to work corp-to-corp or 1099. Candidates must be able to sit on Apex Systems direct w2 without sponsorship needed now or in the future. Responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute an information security incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities. The Data Integration Architect is a technical partner who works alongside end users and an application team, and with solution architects to evaluate requirements, priorities, and cost to meet strategic and technical goals. The Data Integration Architect supports relationships with corporate/clinical partners and serves as a single point of focus for a specific technical area. The Data Integration Architect specialize in one technical area. Additional Skills/Requirements · Knowledge of architecture frameworks · Intermediate knowledge of HL7 standards and understanding of integration methodology and architecture. · Ability to work with vendors to craft, document, and verify solutions for interoperability which meets regulatory, legal, ROI, and integration requirements. · Ability to mentor and train developers in HL7 standards and integration methodology. · Collaborates with cross-functional design teams to design process workflows, identify system integration opportunities, and provide data interoperability scope/roadmaps. · Assists with the build, implementation, and technical support of system interoperability. · Maintains appropriate working documentation, data flow diagrams and interface inventory. · Readily available after hours and weekends for escalations from team members. · Performs routine audits of integration build and processes to ensure best practices and standards are followed. · Knowledge of Epic Bridges. · Ability to diagram data flows and workflows · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Essential Functions · Develop deep knowledge of a technical area. · Develop architectural documents for a technical area. · Implement technical solutions that support digital strategies that generate business value. · Discover problems and identify solutions. · Work with vendors to develop architectural documents. · Work with vendors to ensure a vendor solution meets or exceeds solution specifications and requirements. · Work with vendors and application team to troubleshoot and resolve issues. · Identify, sponsor, and drive innovation and experimentation for a specific technical area. · Reduce cost and/or technical debt. · Contribute to Enterprise Architecture practices.
