POSITION SUMMARY Are you driven by the transformative power of AI in financial analysis? Nurp is seeking a seasoned AI Deep Learning Quantitative Trading Analyst to join our team. You must have a proven track record of building advanced financial trading algorithms within established institutional firms.In this role, you'll play a critical part in advancing Nurp's algorithmic trading capabilities. Responsibilities include backtesting and optimizing existing algorithms in the Nurp suite, forecasting market trends, and developing your own high-performing trading algorithms from inception to deployment. These will contribute directly to our algorithmic offerings. Success in this position requires a strong foundation in deep learning, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and proven experience working with institutional-grade trading systems.The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $200,000 to $260,000, plus a revenue share compensation component.   • Algorithmic Development: Design and implement deep learning algorithms for robust financial data analysis.
  • Modeling and Forecasting: Develop predictive models using AI techniques to forecast market trends and asset prices.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, utilizing statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
  • Risk Management: Assess and manage financial risks through the development of quantitative models and risk management strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into trading strategies.
  • Research and Development: Stay updated on AI and deep learning advancements to enhance existing models and propose innovative solutions.
  • Programming: Proficiently code in Python, R, or MATLAB to implement and test quantitative models.
  • Advanced Backtesting: Develop sophisticated backtesting models, prioritize recent data, and allow dynamic adjustments based on market conditions, enabling granular historical performance analysis with manual assignment of weights.
  • Real-time Parameter Adaptation: Utilize AI techniques to create adaptive algorithms, dynamically adjusting key parameters in real-time for diverse trading environments.
  • Impact Analysis on Market Sentiment: Implement NLP techniques for sentiment analysis and integrate insights into algorithmic strategies based on market sentiment.
  • Market Behaviour Identification: Use data analysis and machine learning to proactively identify and navigate market anomalies.
  • AWS Deployment: Deploy and manage AI models in AWS environments, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master's or Ph.D. in quantitative finance, financial engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of Proven experience applying deep learning techniques and trading algorithms to financial markets.
  • At least 7 years of experience working within a financial institution, hedge fund, prop desk, or fintech company.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or MATLAB and familiarity with machine learning frameworks.
  • In-depth understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
