We're seeking an experienced and skilled Accountant to join our Corporate Bookkeeping team, working remotely from the comfort of your own home. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting, while driving process improvements and building strong relationships with cross-functional partners.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to join arenaflex's Corporate Bookkeeping team, working on a half-breed position that can be situated in Los Gatos or Los Angeles. As an Accountant, you'll be responsible for owning the month-end close cycle, including the audit of paid ahead of time, accumulation, and business ledgers to guarantee fiscal summary exactness under US GAAP. Your functional responsibilities will include recording or journal entries (including intercompany entries), the preparation of accounting report reconciliations, budget versus actual review, and trend analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Own the month-end close cycle, including the audit of paid ahead of time, accumulation, and business ledgers to guarantee fiscal summary exactness under US GAAP

• Drive process upgrades and automate manual work processes to accomplish efficiency
• Make smart close bundles that sum up key business and accounting patterns for the executive's audit
• Address Corporate Bookkeeping in cross-functional cooperations with SP&A, Financial Applications, Travel and Cost, Cash Acquisition Activities, Assessment, and regional accounting partners
• Help groups in social gatherings required expectations for local reporting and consistency purposes

Characteristics We're Searching For:

* 4+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Understanding of US GAAP; CPA or comparable certification preferred
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet tight time constraints
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience carrying out process upgrades
• Flexibility in a quickly changing climate
• Ability to tackle issues independently and practice judgment when solutions are unclear
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
