The role involves handling all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, and trials, with a focus on catastrophic injury and complex litigation cases.
Responsibilities
- Strong research and writing skills
- Experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation including case management, motion practice, and discovery
- Handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
- Representing defendants in significant exposure cases in numerous general liability areas
Skills
- Strong research and writing skills
- At least one (1) to seven (7) years of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation including case management, motion practice, and discovery
- Experience handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
- Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required
- Admission to the New York and/or Pennsylvania Bars is a plus
- Some insurance defense experience is preferred
- Substantive litigation experience
