Rambus is a premier chip and silicon IP provider, seeking to hire an entry level Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to join their MIC Design team in Agoura Hills, California. The role involves designing, simulating, and characterizing high-performance Analog/Mixed-Signal circuits while collaborating with cross-functional teams for circuit validation and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, simulate and characterize high-performance and high-speed Analog/Mixed-Signal circuits
  • Research and implement optimal circuit architectures
  • Work with layout team to optimize for post extraction performance
  • Document analysis and simulation to show that design achieves electrical, timing parameters and pre-silicon verification flow
  • Work with the Lab/System team for circuit characterization and validation
  • Create behavior model for verification simulations
  • Work closely with Sr. Design Engineers on the team

Skills

  • MS EE or PhD EE with minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Course work or experience in CMOS analog/mixed-signal circuit design
  • Good knowledge of basic Analog circuit design principles
  • Some knowledge of Verilog-A, Verilog is desirable
  • Strong commitment and ability to work in cross functional and globally dispersed teams
