Administrator II Category Assistant

The Administrator II Category Assistant will perform administrative and clerical duties within Category Management, ensuring accurate data management and supporting pricing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accurate cost paperwork for the category team and communicate entry timeline into the pricing system
  • Inputs new data into assigned database, report, or documents
  • Processes changes to data in assigned database as required and maintains log of actions related to change
  • Maintains department records and files
  • As necessary, conducts regular review of assigned database, report, or various documents to identify discrepancies in data and ensure accuracy
  • Corrects inaccurate data and maintains documentation of action or communication related to correction
  • Assist with the validation of vendor submitted deals
  • Partners with Pricing to grid advertising signs and pricing

Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience (clerical, administrative, retail, etc.)
  • Familiar with Microsoft Programs
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
  • Ability to manage day to day activities for identified responsibilities
  • Associates Degree
