[Remote] Pricing and Margin Management, Analyst II
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. First Colony Mortgage is seeking an Analyst II to support margin management and pricing operations. The role involves handling pricing changes, conducting margin analysis, and ensuring rate sheet accuracy while contributing to compliance and audit-readiness.
Responsibilities
- Input pricing and margin configurations in the pricing engine (e.g., Optimal Blue)
- Help prepare and distribute daily rate sheets
- Investigate lock/pricing discrepancies and escalate complex issues
- Track and document investor changes, margin updates, and pricing adjustments
- Run basic reports related to margin performance and product competitiveness
- Collaborate with Lock Desk and Capital Markets teams on pricing initiatives
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in mortgage operations or capital markets pricing
- Familiarity with pricing engines and LOS platforms (Optimal Blue, Encompass)
- Understanding of margin strategy and investor pricing basics
- High attention to detail and strong analytical capability
- Excel – Intermediate (vlookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting)
- Pricing Engine – Familiarity with Optimal Blue or similar platforms
- Reporting – Able to produce accurate pricing/margin reports
- Communication – Clear, professional communication with internal teams
- Documentation – Strong process tracking and recordkeeping
