Assistant Digital Producer

Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about various issues and trends. They are seeking an Assistant Digital Producer to update and optimize their content archive on pewresearch.org, focusing on reviewing legacy content, tagging articles, and conducting archival research.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and updating legacy content for accuracy and usability
  • Updating legacy chart images with data tables
  • Tagging legacy articles and features with metadata
  • General QA, troubleshooting, and testing
  • Archival research
  • Documenting processes and tracking work completed

Skills

  • Familiarity with WordPress publishing platform
  • Critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Time management and the ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years professional experience or equivalent in a digital publishing environment
  • Experience with Gutenberg editor is a plus
  • Experience with Asana is a plus
