Accounts Payable Clerk (12 Month Contract)

DLA Piper is a global law firm that aims to be the leading business law firm. They are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Finance department for a 12-month contract, responsible for entering vendor invoices, processing payments, and handling various tasks within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Entering vendor invoices daily
  • Entering expense reimbursement requests for payment in conjunction with payroll as well as Visa payments
  • Preparing and processing payments for invoices via electronic banking or cheque; and
  • Other miscellaneous tasks required from throughout the department

Skills

  • A minimum of one year equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & Word
  • Able to meet timely deadlines and ensure appropriate response times
  • Dedicated to providing quality customer support by providing service beyond expectation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to perform well and be unfailingly diplomatic in a high pressure environment with multiple internal clients
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities required to prioritize a high volume of tasks and manage priorities
