Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Technical Operations Manager to join our team in Kenya. As a key member of our Technical Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of training programs for 500 aeronautics support professionals and staff. You will work closely with our leadership team to ensure that our training programs are aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and that our employees have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of our employees and stakeholders

  • Lead a team of trainers and subject matter experts to design and deliver training programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that training programs are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure that our training programs are of the highest quality
  • Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and ensure that training programs are effective
  • Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programs
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including instructional design, content development, and multimedia production
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and maintain training content
  • Develop and implement a quality assurance program to ensure that training programs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure that training programs are effective and compliant with regulatory requirements

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, training and development, or a related field

  • Five years of experience in training and development, with a minimum of two years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective training programs
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel globally, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a relevant field, such as education, training and development, or a related field

  • Two years of experience in aviation training and development
  • Experience with modern training delivery methods, such as e-learning, virtual classrooms, and online classes
  • Experience with creating and managing training content, including multimedia assets
  • Strong understanding of adult learning standards and instructional design principles
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to assess training effectiveness through evaluations and metrics
