Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to join our team and lead our AWS IT Services Support team. As an IT Operations Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for managing local and remote resources, defining customer experience strategies, and developing knowledge bases to expedite issue resolution. You'll also identify opportunities for automation, documentation, and process improvement to reduce requests and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage local and/or remote resources to deliver high-quality IT support services to arenaflex employees worldwide

  • Collaborate with the global organization to define customer experience strategies and own the implementation of those strategies
  • Develop and leverage knowledge bases to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues and improve customer satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities for automation, documentation, and process improvement to reduce requests and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
  • Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of IT support services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles

Essential Qualifications

* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations

  • 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
  • Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
  • Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a cloud-based environment, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Experience leading teams in a remote work environment
  • Experience with IT service management tools and technologies
  • Experience with process improvement and automation
  • Experience with knowledge management and documentation
  • Experience with metrics and goal-setting

Skills and Competencies

* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of technical professionals

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation

  • Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS
  • Strong understanding of Linux or Unix systems administration
