Job Summary

As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you will work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families. You will explain medical bills, answer questions, and resolve account balances, all while maintaining a high level of empathy and professionalism. Key Responsibilities

* Using empathy and excellent communication skills to help patients and their families understand complex medical bills and resolve account balances

  • Providing outstanding customer service and collaborating with patients over the phone to create affordable payment plans and take payments
  • Accurately documenting all calls and follow-ups in our software systems, utilizing your computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail
  • Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus
  • Continuously improving your skills and knowledge through supportive coaching, feedback, and ongoing training

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
