As a Manager, Project Management Office in Professional Services, you will manage a distributed team of multicultural Project Managers, driving exceptional project execution for AI and Cloud solutions. You will leverage your extensive project management expertise to lead the team through escalations, process development and adherence, and professional development – fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. This role will report to the Director, PMO within the Professional Services organization. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Project Managers, managing team development, operational excellence, and ensuring the team achieves billable utilization goals by adhering to the Mission Engage delivery framework and to Professional Services tooling best practices
  • Conduct regular 1:1s and manage professional development planning with direct reports to promote growth
  • Coach and foster a proactive and solution-oriented approach to managing projects, identifying and mitigating risks early, and escalating projects within the Professional Services organization
  • Collaborate with Finance & Accounting teams to facilitate PS revenue forecasting, monthly invoicing, and financial reporting to achieve company-wide OKRs
  • Provide guidance and actionable feedback during performance reviews – including coaching, completing performance-related documentation, individual progress check-ins, and leadership follow-ups
  • Generate PMO and Professional Services documentation and reports, ensuring proper change management and communication standards are maintained
  • Engage and document portfolio audits adhering to bolster and promote continuous process improvement, governance, and accountability
  • Provide high-level customer relationship and project escalation support for technical projects owned by the team to ensure “definition-of-done” is clearly defined and project requirements are being met during delivery
  • Review SOFs for customer engagements, verify timelines, and manage team allocations and capacity planning to meet billable utilization targets
  • Ensure all project roadmaps are completed in collaboration with technical project teams to align customer goals and business objectives with project success criteria

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience with at least 2 years of lead, supervisory, or senior project management experience
  • 3+ years experience in a Professional Services environment
  • Extensive experience leading a technical project team delivering technology consulting services as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager within the AWS ecosystem
  • Proven experience practicing multiple project management methodologies and tools – JIRA, Kantata, Gainsight, ClickUp, Confluence, Asana
  • Experience coaching and practicing Agile and leading Scrum and Kanban ceremonies to foster continuous improvement and ensure a on time sprint completion
  • Strong track record of successful project execution and executive level communication, including managing project portfolio health metrics and delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Proven experience proactively managing expectations, negotiating priorities and resolving conflicts
  • Certifications such as PMI, SCRUM Master (CSM), SAFe, ITIL
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS AI Practitioner certification (required within 1 year of employment)
