Experienced Full Stack Product Design Engineer – Home and Music Experience Development

As a Product Design Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of home and music experiences. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Modern Design, Sound Designing, Packaging, Testing, Equipment, Projects, and Marketing, to bring innovative ideas to life. With a focus on delivering sustainable, cost-effective, high-performing, and delightful products, you'll have the opportunity to ideate, design, test, and refine new products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with various disciplines to conceptualize ideas and solutions for complex design challenges

• Create, model, assess, and investigate new designs using 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Lead design reviews and contribute to peer design critiques
• Present your work to cross-functional teams and leaders
• Produce detailed specifications and drawings
• Communicate with internal manufacturing teams and external vendors to enhance designs for manufacturability, aesthetics, and performance
• Conduct failure analysis and design of experiments (DOEs) to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Approve and describe designs through various iterations
• Develop deep technical expertise by taking designs from concept to production
• Ensure that designs meet corrective and functional requirements to deliver top-tier products to our customers

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Strong design fundamentals and high personal motivation
• Design insight: exact mechanical intuition, creative problem-solving, curious nature, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and visual. Ability to clearly convey design ideas and contribute to conceptual discussions
• Experience creating parts and assemblies in 3D CAD software
• Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and other relevant analysis methods
• Working knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
• Adaptability and comfort working in a rapidly evolving environment
• Ability to travel globally (up to 20%)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Experience with product development from concept to production
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and lean principles
• Strong understanding of design for sustainability and environmental impact
• Experience with 3D printing and additive manufacturing
• Knowledge of computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools and software
