For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Senior Infrastructure Architect. As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Senior Azure Infrastructure Architect. Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role will focus on provisioning and configuring Azure resources, automating deployments, ensuring security compliance, and optimizing performance across hybrid and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across development and operations teams. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure. Provision and configure Azure resources such as virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components. Automate deployment and management processes using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and PowerShell. Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and availability of cloud environments. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with development and IT operations teams to support application deployment and maintenance. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents. Provide guidance and training to teams on Azure services and best practices. Stay current with the latest Azure technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree). 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering. Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture, deployment, and management. Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Active Top Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Azure DevOps Engineer. Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integration with on-premises systems. Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. Experience with network architecture and security in cloud environments. Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment. At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $154,000-$232,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
