Sales Development Representative

Meyer Lab is an innovative industrial chemical manufacturer seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their dynamic sales team. The SDR will be responsible for prospecting, cold calling, and qualifying potential leads to schedule pre-qualified sales appointments, playing a critical role in expanding the customer base and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social media outreach
  • Generate and qualify leads by engaging with potential customers and understanding their needs
  • Schedule pre-qualified sales appointments for Outside Sales Managers
  • Utilize company-provided tools and CRM software to manage leads and track outreach efforts
  • Overcome objections effectively and build strong rapport with prospects
  • Execute targeted email campaigns to nurture relationships and drive engagement
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM, including call notes, lead status updates, and scheduled appointments
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including daily call targets, email outreach, appointment setting, and revenue goals
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers and Business Development Teams to optimize lead generation strategies
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as directed by leadership

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Must have a dedicated, distraction-free workspace for remote work
  • High-speed internet connection (employee-provided)
  • Availability to work in-office several times per month as scheduled (unless approved for out-of-state work)
  • Experience using CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, or NetSuite preferred)
  • Experience with RingCentral or calling center platforms and ZoomInfo for prospecting is preferred
  • Prior experience in sales, business development, or a call center environment is a plus
