Verification Support Coordinator

The Verification Support Coordinator ensures adherence to federal employment eligibility requirements through accurate I-9 documentation and supports onboarding new providers while maintaining compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Verify employment eligibility through accurate completion and review of Form I-9 and virtual identity verification
  • Create E-Verify cases and upload supporting documentation into the payroll system and digital I-9 binder
  • Provide onboarding support and welcome new EOR/AWC providers by reviewing role expectations and resources
  • Track and complete reverification for expiring identification documents
  • Notify relevant teams of required terminations due to incomplete I-9s and coordinate eligible rehires
  • Partner with the Compliance team to support internal audits of I-9 documentation
  • Maintain close collaboration with Operations teams and respond to questions related to onboarding or compliance

Skills

  • 1–2 years of customer service or administrative experience
  • Familiarity with Form I-9, E-Verify, or onboarding/compliance documentation
  • Interest in talent acquisition, HR, or regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational accuracy
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Collaborative and flexible in a cross-functional environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital file systems
  • Spanish fluency strongly preferred
