Compliance Associate

SEA Wire and Cable, Inc. is a trusted logistics supplier to the Military and Commercial Aerospace industries. The Compliance Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of customer orders, collaborating with sales and support teams to resolve discrepancies and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Order Validation: Carefully reviews orders submitted by the sales and support teams to ensure alignment with customer purchase orders, technical drawings, quality clauses, and specific customer requests
  • Collaborative Communication: Maintains proactive communication with sales and support personnel to resolve discrepancies and clarify order details promptly
  • Quality Assurance Partnership: Works closely with the Order Management team to prevent inaccurate orders from reaching the shipping stage, safeguarding customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively contributes to improving our “first-time-right” shipping rate and reducing Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) through diligent review and process feedback

Skills

  • Minimum high school education or equivalent
  • Proficient and accurate typing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures
  • Responsive to the needs of the organization's service level, sales and warehouse expectations
