Associate Engineer II - Inventory Systems

They are seeking an Associate Engineer II to join their engineering team, where the role involves delivering high-quality applications, participating in Agile ceremonies, and contributing to engineering projects and observability efforts.
Responsibilities
- Take part in Agile ceremonies
- Perform engineering assignments using existing procedures and best practices
- Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts
- Actively monitor key metrics and reports on trends
- Participate in our Engineering Community of Practice
- Contribute to engineering automation, management or development
- Perform reliability monitoring tasks as needed to ensure products meet guest expectations
Skills
- Completed Bachelor's degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible
- 1-2 years of experience
- Experience of working with Oracle Retail products – RMS/ReSA/RPM
- Hands on experience of building scalable technical solutions involving Oracle retail – core modules or integrations
- Experience in event-based integration building and trouble shooting in Java/Sprint Boot
- Experience using middle layer like Kafka and related components
- Experience CI/CD and related devops tools like DataDog
- Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role
