We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Gen AI Developer to join the Data and Analytics Team at Perficient. We are headquartered in St Louis and this position can live anywhere nationally and work mostly REMOTE. Job Overview: As a Lead Technical Consultant, you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment, you will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design. As a Generative AI Developer, you will have hands-on experience in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure OpenAI, and Google Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, AI-driven automation, and generative AI models.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy generative AI solutions using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Implement and optimize machine learning models for various applications, including NLP and computer vision.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
• Develop automation pipelines and workflows using AI frameworks and tools.
• Monitor and improve AI model performance through continuous feedback and iteration.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.

Qualifications

• Passionate about all things Gen AI.
• 5+ years of experience in AI and machine learning development.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for AI model deployment and orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of AI frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and OpenAI API.
• Experience in developing and deploying generative AI models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile development environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multi-agent systems and reinforcement learning techniques.
• Familiarity with API development, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $150,000 to $165,000. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
