Internal Sales Associate

Lockton Affinity, located in Overland Park, KS is searching for an Inside Sales Associate to join our team.  This is a remote, work from home position in the Miami, Florida metro area as the Inside Sales Associate will occasionally need to travel within the metro area to client offices for meetings.  We are searching for someone who is bilingual with full fluency in Spanish.  The Internal Sales Associate role will drive sales and provide professional, positive experience for our advisors and clients. This Associate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of advisors, including support on sales, servicing, strategic planning and technology needs. They will also provide a seamless experience when coordinating solutions with both internal colleagues and outside vendors. The ideal candidate is highly service oriented, professional, detailed, organized, tech savvy and able to maintain a positive attitude throughout the process.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collaborate with the team to offer strategic planning expertise and consultative advice, including producing analyses and recommending changes.
  • Engage in insurance case design (if applicable) and act as a consultation liaison.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during the Sales and Underwriting (UW) process.
  • Assist with the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and document opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Serve as a liaison between Case Designers, Case Managers, Contracting & Licensing, and the Client Experience Team.
  • Maintain regular communication with advisors.
  • Provide Life/Annuity In-force Policy Management support to sales teams.
  • Facilitate point-of-sale meetings with advisors and clients as instructed.
  • Train advisors on how to use websites and tools, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Support insurance application processes, guiding advisors to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Handle quote/illustration requests efficiently.
  • Alert advisors about maturing annuities and offer solutions.
  • Conduct weekly reporting on pending, paid and opportunities using Power BI.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent education and/or experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Life and health license preferred or ability to obtain one.
  • More than 2 years of professional financial services experience.  Expertise in life, annuity, LTC, and disability client solutions including (variable, indexed, advisory, and fixed, hybrid) preferred but not required.
  • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Exceptional consultative, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace, deadline driven department with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to make decisions independently and act autonomously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
