WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Convert the demand into a network supply plan. This includes developing allocation across two sites and sending a master production schedule plan while optimizing network capacity.
  • Balance utilization between two sites, Balance production planning across the network to maintain sprint capacity, including load leveling in preparation for maintenance shut downs, seasonal volumes, manufacturing constraints, etc.
  • Utilize timely and effective communication of issues in manufacturing that may result in poor plan adherence.  This includes providing daily updates to advise both internal and external personnel regarding master production schedule and open order status exceptions, identifying appropriate re-planning and/or recommended courses of action to minimize non-conformances.
  • Analyze previous schedules for deviations and work with the Manufacturing management to determine how future deviations can be prevented
  • Manage inventory and achieve required inventory levels at the defined inventory component level across network stocking locations to meet customer service levels.  Address inventory imbalances and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify and address supply variability issues and support demand planning in forecast accuracy improvement process to improve overall plan feasibility and reliability.  Coordinate root cause analysis and resolution of these issues with key cross-functional stakeholders as needed.
  • Coordinate inter-plant scheduling constraints related to schedule break-ins, raw materials, etc. facilitated through regular communication.
  • Identify, analyze & implement continuous improvement opportunities to result in service improvements or cost savings. Interact with key cross-functional stakeholders as required for success.
  • Act as one of the key users in EBS planning module, actively support EBS go-live, identify and resolve any potential risks and optimize process in EBS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field of study
  • 5+ years of applicable Supply Chain Planning experience in chemical industry, preferably inventory management or master planning for manufacturing environment with global operations
  • Advanced proficiency with common ERP and planning systems and MS Office, primarily Excel and Power Point
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • SAP and MS Access experience is highly desirable
  • A track record of successfully delivering to Key Performance Indicators and business objectives
  • Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders
