Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-centric Customer Service Specialist to join our growing team. As a remote worker, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, answering their questions, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming phone calls and providing support or directing calls to the appropriate staff member
  • Completing outbound calls to customers requesting documents
  • Returning voicemail messages and providing support or directing calls to the appropriate staff member
  • Answering basic questions from policyholders and agents regarding the audit and verification process
  • Providing reasonable due date extensions for policyholders and agents
  • Reading and analyzing incoming email, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and then distributing them to the appropriate individual
  • Indexing provided documentation to the appropriate internal electronic file
  • Assisting in obtaining updated contact information for policyholders or agents when needed
  • Providing clerical support to other departments

Job Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma
  • A minimum of 1-year commercial underwriting/premium audit experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office / Microsoft Outlook required
  • The ability to work independently in a remote environment free from outside distraction / interruption
  • Spanish speaking preferred
