We are hiring a Senior Marketing Strategist with deep experience in SEO and email/lifecycle marketing. This is a remote role for someone with 5+ years of experience who can own strategy, drive execution, and communicate clearly with internal teams and clients.
Role Overview
You will lead SEO and email strategy across client accounts, turning audits and insights into prioritized road-maps and measurable outcomes. You will partner with content, design, paid media, and development resources to ship improvements quickly and build compounding growth over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end SEO strategy and execution: technical audits, on-page optimization, internal linking, content planning, and performance tracking
- Build and manage SEO road-maps (quick wins + long-term initiatives), including clear prioritization and effort/impact thinking
- Collaborate with developers and content teams to implement technical fixes (crawl/indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects)
- Lead email/lifecycle marketing strategy: segmentation, automation/flows, campaign calendars, testing, and optimization
- Improve list health and deliverability fundamentals (as applicable to the platform and client setup)
- Create clear reporting and insights that connect work to outcomes (traffic quality, conversions, pipeline/revenue where available)
- Contribute to client communication: strategy calls, performance reviews, and concise written updates
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- Deliver an SEO + email strategy and roadmap for assigned accounts with KPIs, timelines, and priorities
- Identify and ship high-impact SEO improvements tied to measurable movement (rankings, qualified traffic, conversions)
- Audit and improve lifecycle email flows and campaign performance (engagement and conversion lift)
- Establish a reporting cadence that is easy for clients and internal teams to act on
Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in digital marketing with strong depth in SEO and email marketing
- Proven ability to move from strategy to execution (not recommendations-only)
- Strong analytical and reporting skills (GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills (structured, client-ready writing and presentations)
- Comfortable working remotely and managing priorities across multiple initiatives
- Applicants must reside inside Canada
- Must be able to work in PST time
Nice-to-Haves
- Agency experience and confidence leading client-facing strategy conversations
- Experience supporting enterprise or multi-location organizations
- Familiarity with modern automation and AI-enabled workflows
- CRO mindset (landing pages, funnels, conversion paths) to strengthen SEO/email outcomes
