Location: Overview:

The Revenue Manager is responsible for driving revenue performance across The Kessler Collection’s portfolio of luxury boutique hotels through data-driven insights, strategic pricing, and demand forecasting. This role plays a key part in supporting revenue strategy by analyzing trends, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities to optimize profitability and market share.

Working closely with Regional Directors of Revenue, Complex Directors of Revenue, and property-level teams, the Revenue Manager provides critical analysis and reporting that informs decision-making across the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Revenue Strategy & Optimization

  • Support the development and execution of pricing and inventory strategies to maximize RevPAR, ADR, and total revenue
  • Analyze booking pace, demand trends, and segmentation to recommend strategic adjustments
  • Assist in optimizing business mix across transient, group, and other revenue streams
  • Evaluate promotional strategies and pricing effectiveness

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain accurate short-term and long-term forecasts
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for leadership
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, and index metrics (RGI, MPI, ARI)
  • Track forecast accuracy and refine methodologies as needed

Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct regular competitive set analysis and benchmarking
  • Monitor local market trends, events, and demand drivers
  • Evaluate competitor pricing and positioning to inform strategy
  • Identify risks and opportunities based on market shifts

Systems & Distribution Management

  • Support management of revenue systems, including RMS, CRS, and PMS platforms
  • Ensure data accuracy and rate integrity across all distribution channels
  • Assist in optimizing channel mix and distribution strategy
  • Maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and data models

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align revenue strategies
  • Participate in revenue strategy meetings and provide supporting analysis
  • Assist in preparing presentations for leadership and ownership groups
  • Serve as a key resource for data insights and performance tracking
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • 3–5+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or analytics
  • Experience with Marriott systems and/or luxury or lifestyle hospitality preferred
  • Multi-property or portfolio experience is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Experience with revenue management systems (e.g., One Yield, GPO, CI/TY, etc.)
  • Familiarity with PMS/CRS platforms (e.g., Opera, WebRezPro)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
