Experienced Customer Care Advisor – Insurance Industry Expertise

Job Summary

As a Customer Care Advisor at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our organization, providing exceptional service and support to our members. You'll be responsible for handling inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, or other contacts from members regarding insurance products. You'll assist members with quotes, binding new business, policy inquiries, billing, payments, underwriting, and coverage provisions. You'll identify and understand member needs to provide accurate advice and solutions for insurance products and services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

* Handle inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, or other contacts from members regarding insurance products.

  • Assist members with quotes, binding new business, policy inquiries, billing, payments, underwriting, and coverage provisions.
  • Identify and understand member needs to provide accurate advice and solutions for insurance products and services.
  • Operate efficiently in a contact center environment while maintaining engaging member interactions across multiple channels.
  • Maintain required Property & Casualty license and state registrations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member issues and provide exceptional service.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes to provide accurate information to members.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and goals, including first call resolution, customer satisfaction, and sales targets.

Qualifications and Experience

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service by phone and email.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to acquire Property & Casualty licenses and state registrations within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year of customer contact experience in a needs-based sales environment.
  • 6 months experience frequently communicating with customers by phone, email, or face to face.
  • US military experience through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in the insurance industry, with a focus on customer service and sales.

  • Knowledge of insurance products and services, including property and casualty insurance.
  • Experience working in a contact center environment, with a focus on customer service and sales.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication.

Salary

The hiring range for this position is: $45,010 - $47,510.
