Subrogation Technician

GEICO is a leading insurance company that provides quality coverage to millions of customers. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Subrogation Technician to prepare demand packages, communicate with carriers and policyholders, and monitor claims for recovery efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and sending demand packages to the adverse carrier
  • Communicating effectively with the adverse carrier and policyholders
  • Monitoring the claim file for recovery
  • Reimbursing expenses including deductibles
  • Evaluating claims for further recovery efforts as necessary

Skills

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask (listen and type; speak and navigate multiple systems)
  • Must be able to attain and maintain the required licenses issued by the insurance departments of various states
  • Ability to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
  • Must meet corporate attendance standards
