Android Engineer

As an Android Engineer, you will design and develop mobile capabilities that integrate with event-driven systems, ensuring seamless user experiences powered by real-time data.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Android features that consume and reflect event-driven data from backend systems
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define and integrate event contracts into mobile applications
• Improve app performance, reliability, and data consistency across user-facing features
• Write and maintain tests to ensure correctness of event handling and application behavior
• Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions to improve engineering quality

Skills

• 0-3 years experience building Android applications using Kotlin or Java
• Experience building UI using Android Views and/or Jetpack Compose
• Experience integrating APIs and handling real-time or near real-time data
• Write clear, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Comfortable debugging performance issues and improving application reliability
• Communicate effectively with engineers, product managers, and designers
