Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and resolving customer issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and provide solutions
  • Updating customer information and order status in our systems
  • Reviewing dashboards for alerts and taking proactive steps to resolve issues
  • Escalating unresolved issues to senior team members or supervisors as needed
  • Performing resolution procedures outlined in our static help file
  • Investigating rules engine failures and determining the best course of action
  • Maintaining client and customer criteria for handling orders
  • Updating and maintaining current information on prices and ensuring Sales Data Coordinator is notified in a timely manner
  • Filing documents according to arenaflex policy
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with customers, clients, and colleagues
  • Assisting with Customer Replenishment (CRP/VMI) and managing inventory data, entering orders in Becton Schantz, and sending to customers
  • Performing special assignments for the company and/or branch and/or department as needed
  • Meeting physical requirements and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • An Associate Degree or formal customer service training
  • Two years of business process solutions, customer service, and/or administrative experience
  • One year of food broker experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Proficiency in data/order entry and software
  • Possession of Becton System technical skills
  • Ability to type a minimum of 60 wpm

Work Environment and Culture

As a remote customer service coordinator, you will work from the comfort of your own home, with the flexibility to manage your schedule and work environment. However, you will be required to adhere to a hybrid work schedule, working from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office from Tuesday through Thursday. Our office environment is collaborative and supportive, with a focus on teamwork, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
