Job Description

The Sales Estimator is a crucial link between potential clients and our production team. You will be responsible for accurately evaluating project requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates, and facilitating the client journey from initial contact through to final contract agreement. This role demands a combination of technical estimating expertise, active sales engagement, and the dedication to deliver a supreme customer experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain enduring client relationships, ensuring optimal service throughout the sales and estimating process.
  • Identify, engage, and secure potential clients through effective lead generation, networking, and follow-through activities.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients that clearly communicate the value and quality of services offered by Pristine Painting and Coatings.
  • Perform thorough on-site assessments to accurately gauge project scope, requirements, and client expectations.
  • Generate detailed and precise cost estimates and proposals, ensuring all factors are considered to maintain profitability and competitive pricing.
  • Ensure seamless project handover to the production team by providing comprehensive details and client expectations.
  • Maintain meticulous records of estimates, sales activities, and client communications utilizing CRM and other digital tools.
  • Stay informed of local market conditions, industry trends, and technological advancements that impact our business and offerings.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or estimating within the painting, construction, or related industry.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in articulating complex concepts to a diverse client base.
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills, with a consistent track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of painting materials, techniques, and the latest industry practices.
  • Proven aptitude for creating detailed, accurate estimates.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, CRM systems, and other relevant software tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently while contributing positively to the team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license, with a keen knowledge of the local market, especially in Hawaii.
  • Must currently reside on the island of Oahu 
  • Candidates must be able to satisfy background check requirements and pass a standard drug screening.
