Interpersonal Neurobiology
Portland Community College's provides students and working professionals career training and professional development courses in Interpersonal Neurobiology. This 7 month program is offered as a hybrid mix of online and remote instruction.
Minimum Instructor Qualifications for all IPNB Courses:
? 2 years experience or study in Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB)
? 2 years experience or application of IPNB concepts in the relevant course(s) for which you are applying
? Experience teaching or facilitating groups or adults.
Additional Qualifications for the Science of IPNB Course
? To teach the Science of IPNB course, applicants must have training and working knowledge of neuroscience, brain anatomy, polyvagal theory, relational neuroscience and related principles covered in the course.
? Ability to support learning for students with various educational backgrounds (some with little science knowledge to some who are trained therapists or medical doctors), thus able to address relevant high level questions, as well as help those with little science background to understand the science and integrate complex concepts.

Notes Regarding Academic Credentials
- Official transcripts are required to be submitted within 2 weeks of offer date for degrees required in the stated Instructor Qualifications.
- Instructors shall have earned required academic credentials at a regionally accredited US institution or a foreign institution having the equivalent of regional accreditation. Instructors with credentials from other countries will have their transcripts evaluated by agencies that have good standing with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services to establish fulfillment of this standard.
