Sales and Project Coordinator

Commissionaires BC is a not-for-profit security organization that has been operating since 1927, dedicated to serving communities and veterans. The Sales and Project Coordinator will support integrated security solutions by assisting in sales and project activities, including RFPs, RFQs, and contract preparation, while collaborating with Business Development and Project Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with reviewing RFPs, RFQs, and direct quote requests to identify potential business opportunities
  • Support evaluation of incoming sales leads and help highlight high-potential opportunities to BDMs
  • Help prepare submissions, organize documentation, and track deadlines
  • Assist with preparing contracts and following up to ensure timely execution
  • Help prepare consulting reports and technology solution proposals
  • Support creation of resource planning spreadsheets, schedules, and project documentation
  • Assist with general communications and coordination with external vendors as needed
  • Help prepare client quotes under the guidance of the Sales or Project team
  • Maintain accurate client, prospect, and opportunity records
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, calls, and site visits with clients and team members
  • Assist in identifying and implementing small workflow improvements
  • Provide administrative or project support as needed

Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with guidance and support
  • A willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes
  • Is early in their career or transitioning into sales/project coordination
  • Learns quickly and enjoys working in structured, process-driven environments
  • Is organized, curious, and comfortable supporting multiple priorities
  • Is motivated by teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
