Summary

The Events Marketing Intern will support the Marketing team in the planning, execution, and follow-up of regional and national events, including tradeshows and conferences. This role offers a hands-on learning opportunity for Marketing majors interested in event marketing, logistics, and cross-functional collaboration. By assisting with event coordination and related marketing activities, the intern will play an important role in ensuring successful event execution and supporting broader marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning and execution of regional and national tradeshows and events
  • Support event logistics, including scheduling, vendor coordination, shipment tracking, and on-site preparation
  • Help manage pre-event and post-event activities, including attendee lists, lead tracking, and follow-up coordination
  • Assist with the creation and organization of event-related marketing materials and collateral
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with members of the Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to support event success
  • Provide on-site or virtual event support as needed
  • Assist with basic reporting and data organization related to event performance
  • Execute additional event marketing and administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited four-year college or university (Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
  • Salesforce experience is a plus but not required

The Events Marketing Intern position is part of the larger Summer Internship program at CentralSquare. The internship will commence on June 8th and continue for a period of 12 weeks. Interns are expected to work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours each week. The program is fully remote, allowing participants to engage in their responsibilities from any location.
