Key Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and processing new cases, including independent Medical Reviews, and entering relevant information into our systems
  • Logging and processing data through to the next stage, utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel to create and edit documents
  • Maintaining awareness of HIPAA regulations and handling sensitive information with care
  • Collaborating with our team to resolve any data-related issues or concerns
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in data management

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong data entry skills, with experience in healthcare data management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent administrative skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and the ability to handle sensitive information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting or with healthcare-related data
  • Knowledge of Pivot Tables, column insertion, and other advanced Excel features
  • Familiarity with PDF creation and editing using Microsoft Word
  • Certification in data management or a related field
