Master Data Tech Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Data Tech Lead to spearhead our master data management (MDM) initiatives, especially as we are going through an S4 HANA and salesforce implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the overseeing data governance, ensuring data accuracy and consistency, and driving best practices in data management across the organization. This role requires strong project management skills, specifically for managing the data migration aspects of ERP and CRM transformations. A significant part of this role will involve supporting the Data Lead on the program rollout, as well as providing technical support and coaching for other Master Data Stewards in the team. This senior role is expected to help mentor and coach the data stewards and the rest of HBK in Data management. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of data architecture and governance principles, with the ability to extract and understand data using SQL processes.

Key Responsibilities

SAP S4 HANA and salesforce Rollout Support: Collaborate closely with the Data Lead to support and drive the rollout of our SAP S4 HANA implementation. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to Master Data Stewards across the organization. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of master data management solutions. Develop and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance. Collaborate with business and IT teams to define data standards, workflows, and processes. Work with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality, validation, and enrichment processes. Oversee the implementation of MDM tools and technologies, ensuring scalability and performance. Assist in defining and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data management initiatives. Troubleshoot and help resolve data-related issues along with the data stewards, ensuring minimal disruptions to business operations, Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables for data migration aspects of ERP and CRM transformations. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management. Mentor and train team members on MDM best practices and technologies Qualifications & Experience Strong knowledge of MDM concepts, data governance frameworks, and best practices. Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL processes, data modeling, and cloud-based data solutions. Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and compliance requirements. Experience in Agile methodologies and working within DevOps environments. Experience in data migration during ERP/CRM transformations, including the project management aspects required for successful execution. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications in MDM technologies or data governance frameworks. Experience with AI/ML-driven data quality improvement techniques. Knowledge of big data platforms and data lakes. Previous experience in industries such as finance, healthcare, or manufacturing. Specific experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations, especially SAP S4 HANA, is highly desirable.
