Analyst – Verification & Validation (V&V)

This a long-term PJ contract position based out of Brazil. OVERVIEW: We are looking for a V&V Analyst to join our V&V team! As a V&V Analyst, you will join the team responsible for designing and implementing cutting edge technologies to develop data pipelines from the most important advertising channel of the world (Amazon, Google, Facebook, Instacart, Walmart and others), being awarded by Amazon as the best US Scaled Technology of 2022. REQUIREMENTS: · Familiar with SQL for data querying and validation; · Experience with Excel; · Strong analytical skills and understanding of system logic; · Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; · Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution; · Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact; · High sense of responsibility and ownership over critical operations; · Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; · Ability to understand business rules and existing code; · Strong teamwork and communication skills. · Good communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical teams. · Intermediary English · Availability to work on a rotation schedule, including weekends and holidays; NICE TO HAVE: · Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms; · Background in QA, Data Quality, Validation, Product, or Technical Support roles; · Basic knowledge of programming logic; · Previous experience supporting technical customers. WHAT YOU’LL DO: This is an entry-level position. As a member of V&V (Validation and Verification), you will be responsible for ensuring that all the data flow is working properly and that the algorithm is working as specified, confirming that the entire system is consistent with the requirements. You will: · Perform daily verification of system and algorithm functionality; · Validate that data is correctly received, processed, and calculated; · Approve daily system operation according to a rotation schedule, including weekends and holidays; · Validate new products and changes to existing products; · Analyze the impact of changes on data, reports, and business rules; · Work closely with Product and Engineering teams; · Provide technical customer support through ticket management and resolution; · Identify, document, and communicate system inconsistencies, failures, or bugs; · Prioritize tasks based on urgency and business impact.
