[Remote] Associate Software Engineer

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will work on developing scalable web and backend services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative AI-powered solutions that enhance healthcare experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React, Redux, and Node.js
- Build and integrate intelligent agents and automated tools using LangChain, LangGraph, and other modern GenAI frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust backend services in Python and manage application data using MongoDB
- Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement
- Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and strategic innovation within AI, ML, and software engineering
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with an emphasis on responsible use of AI
- Apply proven design patterns and engineering best practices to ensure clean, maintainable, and highly efficient code
- Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, agile ceremonies, and collaborative team environments
Skills
- Bachelor's degree OR Equivalent Software Development experience (e.g., Associate degree in Computer Science with 2+ years of software development experience)
- 1+ years of experience with our academic project exposure to modern JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js, and Python
- Hands-on project experience utilizing GenAI frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph to build agent-based systems or tool integrations
- Exposure to database management using MongoDB and RESTful API development
- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows, such as utilizing GitHub Copilot or similar tools
- Experience contributing to the development of machine learning (ML) models, pipelines, or data preparation tasks
- Strong grasp of software design patterns and architectural principles
- Proactive attitude toward learning emerging technologies in AI, ML, and modern web development
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong ability to collaborate within a team environment
