Sales Engineer
North Sea Systems is a company that designs, builds, and operates specialist equipment for the offshore renewables and telecoms industries. They are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to support sales activities, learn about their products and technology, and eventually take ownership of sales and client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Support the Managing Director in all aspects of the sales process
- Learn and develop a deep understanding of our technology, products, and applications
- Assist with client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions
- Travel regularly to meet customers, attend site visits, and represent the business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Contribute to proposals, quotations, and technical documentation
- Gradually take the lead on sales opportunities and customer accounts
Skills
- Degree or background in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Charismatic, energetic, and confident in engaging with clients
- Ambitious and motivated to grow into a senior sales role
- Willingness to travel extensively as part of the role
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a small team environment
