Architect (Data Centers)

They are seeking an Architect Professional in their Data Centers group to contribute to engineering, design, and construction projects for data center facilities, ensuring technical quality and adherence to client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with a team of designers and engineers as Architect/Architectural Designer, you’ll help us engage with clients and subcontractors, designing some of the world’s most advanced data center facilities. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will work together to deliver construction documents
- Plan and conduct work requiring judgment and evaluation, selection, and adaptation of architectural techniques and criteria
- Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control
- Perform calculation checking of others’ work
- Collaborate with other designers in the development of layout, technical design, construction drawings, specification, and model creation
- Attend project meetings and take an active role in helping the team resolve concerns and solve problems across all disciplines
- Participate in and champion internal, cross-discipline, and external project quality reviews
- Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks
- Perform technical and business presentations with clients and employees
- Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others
- Participate in developing proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited Architectural program
- 1-2 years of professional Architectural Design experience
- Expert-level proficiency with REVIT, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe Suite
- Knowledge of building codes and applicability to industrial facilities
- Understanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedules
- Ability to work well across multiple teams and lead small architectural teams
- Master's degree in Architecture
- Professional Architectural License and be able to be licensed in multiple states
- Experience with designing data centers and industrial manufacturing facilities
