Revenue Management Analyst

Viking is a global leader in experiential travel, and they are seeking a Revenue Management Analyst to join their Revenue Management team. This role involves influencing and supporting revenue management strategy through pricing, inventory control, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage pricing and inventory to support the yield management goals in the assigned markets based on supply and demand, booking curves, standard reports, competitive landscape, market conditions, data analysis, etc
  • Conduct quantitative analyses and create ad hoc reports and presentation decks for the senior management, including CMO, CEO, and the Board of Directors
  • Work closely with other teams such as Marketing, Sales, Call Center, Operations, and IT to implement projects within expected deadlines
  • Proofreading direct mailers, email campaigns, etc for accuracy in pricing, inventory, offer messaging & terms
  • Basic knowledge of Copilot, or similar, is preferred. Willingness to learn/interact with Copilot is required
  • High level of discipline & multitasking capacity as well as a desire to take ownership of sailings under the analyst’s supervision
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in any of the following: Finance, Math, Statistics, Business Administration or other quantitative discipline
  • Previous experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUPs, IFs)
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Database management skills
  • Willingness to learn SQL is required
  • Basic knowledge of Copilot, or similar, is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred
  • Prior experience with the travel industry and/or revenue management is a plus
